Latest Bar Report

A bit of a brooding start to the day here in Noosa. Thick cloud cover morphed to scattered by 8.00am, though, and it now looks like being quite a nice day. A 3 to 5 knot southerly breeze blowing at the river mouth and a small rolling swell on the bar. No bird or pelagic activity while I was there. BOM forecast is for south to south easterly winds about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the morning. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: South easterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore. Filmed between 6.00am and 6.50am which was about an hour and a half after a 0.75m low tide. Background Music: 'Modern Situations'... by Unicorn Heads.
